Neuvorstellung aus Holland
Dry Riverbed Trio first brought its musical talent to the stage in 2014. Following a series of successful gigs in the Netherlands, the band decided to focus on developing its own sound as a blues and country combo. The trio draw inspiration from among others groups across the old-school blues and country spectrum.
A series of concerts followed in the Netherlands and abroad in which the band performed to wide acclaim at major and minor venues as well as festivals such as Kwadendamme Blues and Moulin Blues. Dry Riverbed also played as support for the Paladins and Ian Siegal. The bands sets are high energy events, full of passion, pleasure and contact between the musicians on stage, with Dusty Ciggaar showing his mastery of the guitar as the band’s frontman, supported by Darryl Ciggaar on drums and Ronald Tilgenkamp on bass. Dry Riverbed signed with Dox in 2018. They recorded sessions at an old monastery in the south of the country in August 2018. These resulted in a record which reflects the band’s wide range of styles, taking listeners on a voyage of discovery to every corner of the blues and country world.
From February 2019, Dry Riverbed Trio will be promoting their brand-new album titled Chained and Bound on a tour of the Netherlands, as well as shows abroad. Come and listen to this epitome of authentic roots music from the heart of Holland.
